Post Affiliate Pro – Affiliate Tracking Links

For users that are using Post Affiliate Pro ("PAP")  to track their affiliate sales and leads, please read here for a very important update on how to allow the software to track on your Clients on Automation Software pages.

By default, on your PAP merchant panel, the affiliate tracking link will generate a URL Parameter like below:

https://yourcustomdomain.com/funnel-1/funnel-step-1#a_aid=youraffiliateid

Now, if that affiliate ID is generated with the "#" symbol, that will not work and tends to break your pages. This is because as per our current Clients on Automation Software functionality, we are blocking any # parameters.

What you'll need to do is to reach out to PAP's support team and get them to change that parameter to have the "?" symbol as below:

https://yourcustomdomain.com/funnel-1/funnel-step-1?a_aid=youraffiliateid

After they changed it in your account, affiliate links will now be generated with the ? parameter instead of the # which will now allow you to track sales/leads correctly.
